He took off in 1st it started to spin then he put it into 2nd, and then 3rd, maybe hitting 6.5k - 7k

It didnt show any type of problems until we turned around about a mile later which was odd.

That is interesting. The Maggy usually stops making power around 5500-5800 RPM so there is no need to go any higher than that IMHO. Was there still meth in the tank? I see you have the Safe Injection which is good.

That is weird.... I'm assuming your tech hasn't taken the front cover off yet to see the timing chain/cam gear yet?

What do you think could be some good or bad scenarios in this case? Sorry for the questions,

My buddy is a mechanic and he is going to come over with a bore scope tomorrow and try and see what is going on.

to me the bent plugs are bad crank bearing.

Because when a piston contacts the valve, it gets bent instead of the pushrod. Those last 2 plugs are definitely fouled out and appear to have detonation, but no contact from anything?

Need to check a few things...

1. Has bent pushrods....are these stock or aftermarket rods? A stock pushrod will bend fairly easy and is there almost as a fuse incase of an over rev. Aftermarket hardened pushrods that are bent you need to check the valves as well to make sure they are not bent.

2. I would pull the valve covers off and rocker arms. See if a valve is stuck open. From the looks of the spark plugs, something hit the plug and closed it. Or it was dropped before it went into the car.

As far as valve springs, that needs to be matched to the camshaft that you are using. You can go to stiff as well as to soft on the springs. Figure out what it has for a cam in the car and go from there.

First things first though...figure what happened to it, as I think there is more than just bent pushrods.

If a valve hits a piston or a piston hits a valve, a weaker or a stronger pushrod is not gonna save you in anyway, or would a "stronger" valve.

It's definitely odd that the 2 plugs are pushed closed, but don't appear to have been smashed by a piston. Unfortunately, you would have noticed a power loss if they were that way when you bought it. Did you drop them taking them out?

No they were not dropped. I took the valve over off and everything look ok, so far 4 pushrods are bent. My buddy is coming over with a bore scope and to do a leak test and compression test tonight.
