sorry i didnt clarify that.
I wish they would, I might seriously consider it an option. I've owned three mustangs in the past and only stopped because they won't up the HP.

The big difference is that there will be few sitting on dealer lots since 95% of them are pre-orders by customers from as early as October last year. The fact that Ford Dealers still have any sitting on the floor at all shows the difference in the interest in the two cars, even with the redesign. The only Camaro's you will see on the floor right now are from dealers trying to get over sticker.

Plus, I am sure Camaro will outsell the Mustang 100 to 1 in 2010. Especially with all the comparison reports pointing out and saying the "OBVIOUS winner" and the "Unanimous Decision" goes to the camaro.

2010 is the year of the Camaro.

Let's also not forget that this is STILL pretty early to see 2010's of ANY car. Years ago you could not get next model year until August/September....and that was early.

A GT500 is arriving here on April 21st that I'll get to test drive, I hope its hugger or kona blue, both colors look great in pictures. As for the camaro unfortunatly neither dealer around me has any nor have any dates yet to give me for when they will get one. KInda annoying, both chevy dealers here suck.

wow the challenger beat out the mustang, I wonder if it being a new model had anything to do with it? Just like the camaro will outsell both in 2010 because the car has been advertised since 07 and the car hasnt been in production for 8 years. But do you think the challenger will outsell the mustang again??? sorry but I dont see that happening....

100 to 1 on the camaro?

not even 2 to 1.

our local dealer has a few (all the way out here in az to boot). i wont be picking up a 2010, its not an option. in 2011 if they offer up the 3.5TT or the 5.0, i might

"Ooo 2010 Mustang on the floor before ur camaro lolz"

All I have to say:

"Bleepdebleepdebleee.. I can wait. I'm not in any rush now go play my little pony with your other friends."

And that wasn't aimed at any of the levelheaded "stangbangers" here on C5. Those of you here actually have my respect for objective views of both cars.

Here is my comment on this, Ford fans should be happy that both the Challenger and the Camaro are back. What was Ford's push since 03 to improve on the Mustang? There wasn't one, there was no direct competition in the market, which basically meant that if you wanted American Muscle you had to buy a Mustang, they had a Monopoly on American Muscle Cars. The return of both the Challenger and the Camaro means Ford is gonna do something to improve on their car. Ford fans win out in this. Competition pushes others to come up with new stuff and the consumers (while we pay for it) get better cars usually.

In the end, no matter what. The return of the Camaro and the Challenger is good for us all.

Any car that goes into production in less than 3 years after being ok'd is hitting the market very quickly. 4 years is normal, 5 is getting a little long.
