Everything you see on my SS's exterior, HID halo headlights like mine, 20" staggered rims, painted roof ditches, tinted taillights, rear spoiler, and red RS badging.

Go in and buy on the last or next to the last day of the month. Its the time when they are scrambling to meet the monthly sales quotas. So you will get the best deal so ask for something like free stripes or tell them you are walking. I bet you get your stripes.

Definitely RS package, I dont know if convenience and connectivity is standard on 2LT but if its not, i'd get it for the remote starter, its not expensive at all

Yes, this is all standard on the 2LT.

Definitely go for the RS package; I couldn't go for it because I need to be able to drive my car year-round (RS package means only summer performance tires). But you get the 20" wheels and, of course, the halo headlamps!! Otherwise most of the goodies come standard on the 2LT

Yea, I absolutely HATE that. What if the buyer is from out of state, a state that doesn't require a front plate?

Fortunately, my dealer is amazing. It's protocol for them to leave all the build sheets, AND they don't drill on the front plates as that's "up to the customer." Why couldn't more dealers be like this?

Since you're getting a 2LT, I'd recommend adding the compact spare wheel and tire

I think that other than the RS package, this is the second best advice. I know I myself felt a little shortchanged by the lack of a spare. It's ALWAYS necessary to be prepared.

You're going to have a lot of fun with your new camaro. If you can scrounge up the money, try to swing an SS; you'll find yourself digging a hole with all of the modifications and options you plan on adding, and the difference between the two might equal out to an engine with much more horsepower. If you can't close the gap on the SS, then make sure to get the RS package and rearview camera as these two are the musts. The rs package will give you the upgraded headlights that give the car its defining personality (among other things, like upgraded tires etc), and the rearview camera is a necessity for seeing a full range view on an otherwise limited perspective.
