I said voltage reducer, I meant speed controller. It doesn't reduce voltage, it pulse modulates the signal to slow the pump down for low engine rpms, low flow requirements.

Are you talking about this?

I have the speed controller but not setup. Last i heard they are coming out with a module that will read your tach (attached to the second terminal from the right) and figure out how much fuel is needed based on that.

Yes, It hooked to the tack on my buddy old vette with an LT1 and a Fast ECU. Not sure how it would hook up to the tach on a new camaro?

The Problem with Aeromotive used to be they would burn up on the street from heat or vapor or whatever. So to me that speed controller would be a must have which im sure is the reason Aeromotive makes it for people that have street cars. The kit looks very nice and I know Aeromotive put alot of work into it so with the speed controller id say go for it.

Kyle, I have an extra tank if you need one. I got it so I could sent it out to get the triple pumper fuel system from Lonnie's. Did not want to be down while it was being worked on but now that I installed it I no longer need the extra one.

Did the same thing with the 6L80. Bought an extra one so the car could continue to be driven while the tranny was being built.

If you need it PM me.

So far the car is up to 800rwhp on pump gas and the fuel system is good to 1500rwhp.

Kyle -

I highly recommend the Aeromotive system. Tom uses the A1000/Eliminator pump system that we came up with years ago on the DTS dyno to test those monster turbo motors. So they have supported 1000's of pulls over 2,000 HP. Never had a failure.

I used this combo in the both the SST and the Firebird but you must use the Controller too !! Since the SST stuff is in the tanks a pic doesn't help a lot but here are a couple: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=101

Here is shot from under the back of the Firebird with the same (external) system. The controller is mounted in the trunk.

Killer.
Thanks. Lonnie is where I was going to get my triples put in too. But we decided to go aeromotive. Plus it's winter so I don't need a tank. Lol. Man Texas was nice for winter driving!

Nice Bruce. A recommendation from you says a lot. I will be getting the controller as well. Hope it's not too complicated.

I'll be using the Aeromotive 18673 A-1000 Stealth Pump and the 16306 Speed Controller on my ProCharger D1 build which has begun. It looks like Summit has them in stock.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Aeromotive's Stealth Eliminator setup is the last pump you'll need on your car whether you are looking to have a street mannered car or go up to 1500hp.

We run Aeromotive systems on our race cars with excellent results.

PM or call us for great pricing on their fuel pumps.

So they recommend getting the controller but you can't even use it?

FWIW, I used the 1000hp Stealth C5 Aeromotive pump in my ProCharger build this week (619rwhp). We're very happy with the results and the room to spare.

It is an in-tank pump and is noticeably noisy, but not unbearably so.

We called Aeromotive about the Speed Control for our (relatively) smaller build, and they couldn't give us a reason why we needed it, so we didn't get one.
