That's what's wrong with this country. Everyone feels entitled, this guy feels entitled to two parking spots.

If someone takes up two spots I park on their driver side and park as close to them as I can trying to fit into the spot they are halfway taking up so they have to crawl in the passenger side. This inconvenience will make you think a little more about parking like an ass. You can only blame yourself for taking up two spots. The only time you should take up more than one spot is if your vehicle physically doesn't fit in one spot.

You are NOT royalty and deserve two spots.

As for letting the air out of his tires that is a even more of a dick move that I would expect from someone that takes up two spots. When ever I do park next to a double parking fool I take a picture of their parking job and make sure to include their plate. So If I come back and anything is done to my car I can track him down and retaliate ten fold.

I try to get a spot at the end of a row, preferably at the end that will allow me to back in with the passenger side very close to the curb, wall or whatever. If I'm at the other end of the row I go in nose first, again with the passenger side at close as possible to the curb or wall. If I can't get on an end I'll go as as far from the door as I need to to find a bunch of empty space and park in the center of one, NEVER IN TWO. Fortunately, the spots here in Arizona was generally pretty big, a lot wider than we would find in Seattle.

Anyone who takes 2 spots while parking is breaking the basic tenet that you expect everyone else to follow to protect your car....park within the lines. You park right on the line to take up 2 spaces, and expect others to honor them?

Park far away in 1 space, and most people wont mess with you.

Thank you. Not directing this at the original poster what-so-ever, but sometimes reading people's comments on this site you'd think that this was a Bugatti Veyron website or something like that. I understand having pride in our cars, but damn it's just a Camaro...

I park a little further out, and if possible I park in end spaces so I can hug the curb or wall away from the car that would be parking next to me.

I always park far out and in and end spot if I can find it. In the underground parking at work, I go all the way to the bottom and park in the same end spot each day. I never take more than one spot, no matter what car I am driving. In 15 years of driving sports cars, including convertibles with the top down, I've never had any problems with this.

+1. If you take two spaces you are asking for it. Whats to say this business wont fill up and you have then caused someone who could have parked an opportunity to park in one of those spots. What makes you so special that you think you deserve two spots.

Just park a little away and centered in a spot and most people will respect you. Often you will get others who share your concerns parking beside you because they know you wont ding them. They are thinking they are protecting you by parking next to you so no one else can ding you.

If you park in two spots someone with an attitude is GOING TO TEACH YOU A PARKING LESSON and you will be luck you come out unscratched. Waiting and hollering at them will get you nowhere but may cause you more problems than it's worth. When it comes to backing you up, you would be in the wrong in all ways, insurance and legally.

I know I'm new here but I tend to agree that taking up two spots is not the right thing to do, especially if the parking lot is semi-full.
Do like I do.. Leave the Camaro in the garage and take your wife's company car to the mall!!!

I always park far away from other cars and, if possible, an end spot. However, I will never take up 2 spaces. You are asking someone to mess with you. You might even find a nice dent or scratch.
