^ wow that's really off-topic. You should start a new thread there. You just ordered, if you even ordered...who knows. Complaining at this point is rampant silliness on your part.

Look at it this way, the longer we wait, the more Camaros are on the street and the less chance some clown is going to pick your Camaro to violate, vandalize or steal, heaven forbid any of us have to go through that.

i read about some of you early VIN guys, and some others still at 1100 that ordered back in October and it just kills me. i ordered 4/11 and was told July. now my dealer says i won't even get pulled until at least mid June, and i feel fortunate!

there is no ryme or reason to any of this madness. there was a post on here where a member stated how disheartening all of this was and how frustrated he is becoming. i don't blame him.

my opinion.......GM really screwed the pooch on this one. i understand the issues with a new line product, i really do. but the lack of communication from GM, lack of caring from most dealers (not all), build priorities and what seems to be absolute lack of caring or consideration when it comes to the pre-order customer is simply becoming unexceptable.

perhaps if GM wasn't so worried about building Camaros for Texas parades or baseball events, they could concentrate on fixing the early VINS and getting them to the owners who ordered back in October, before the April orders are delivered. perhaps since GM offered pre-orders, GM shoulda filled those orders COMPLETELY first, and not treated them as "filler work" between Hendricks cars and AVIS cars.
And this is why I am getting one now before GM goes under *********. If they would learn how to market the products and make the people happy that are already giving them money, they would be better off. I absolutly LOVE all of my Chevrolet vehicles but the combination of unions, dealers marking everything up, not knowing how to market a product, and putting people on hold that have already given money are not the way to stay in buisness. I know everybody works hard at GM but you would think that if something isnt working, they would change it...

My dad has friends at GM who told him ALL Camaro productions have been delayed at least one to two weeks, with no explanation. I definitely feel your pain I too have ordered a V-6, CGM, with the RS package. I was originally anticipating "the call" for the end of this week; however, if it's for safety reasons, I would rather them catch it now than when I'm on the road.

Someone please talk me down.

I think you all will find a few examples of the cars moving in this thread...and many more threads if you look.

Look guys, I can do the hustle..............:party0048:

GM has to please the masses before anything and wether you want to beleive it or not, we (Camaro buyers who are upset) are not the masses. I'll bet 90% of all cars purchased are bought off of the lot. And this is a rare situation. Supplier problems and such. Too much info from GM could possibly do more harm than good.

We may not be the masses, but word of mouth is the best advertisment, and how good does it look to "the masses" when they ask us when we will get our car since we ordered in october and we(the ones that have already given GM money) have to tell them, "well, its still on hold for quallity checks" or "it got pushed back again" or "I dont know, but people who ordered last month got thiers". Think that makes them want to give GM money to eventually get a car? Bad news travels twice as fast and is a bigger influance to the general public. The few of us on here that love GM and are loyal can tell a few people how great the car is but for example, the lady on here that had the yellow car break down, think that picture of it on the rollback on the home page isnt going to spread like wildfire?

Good point...Just like the Gov't. If they told us everything we wanted to know that would probably bring a bunch of harm to our society..................................But F* that!!!! This ain't the government. We are the "demanding" customers (I know I am) who are more than willing and been ready to spend $30,000+ during these troubling economics times from a historic car maker that is having trouble staying afloat itself. And if that ain't a reason to give us the ACCURATE info we need then dammit I don't know what is. I read these threads all the time and it seems like people all over are getting more and more bogus repsonses from their dealers. Now if GM is just trying to keep everyone on ice until the "Launch Day" then fine. But this is terrible....Dammit I need a drink. somebody get me some Patron WOOOOOOOOOSAH!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOSAH!!!!
