It used to be. I used to get some ridiculousness pulling up along side me and I just wondered "WTF is everyone smoking today?"

That was 2010. Now I'm getting STI (sexually transmitted infections) blowing their turbos at me. The 2010 mustang GT's have calmed down and learned their place. People with 5.0s around here drive like grandma's (and they are men). People in challenger's act like the world is beneath them.

But I've noticed the more mods I get the less I get challenged.

Put headers, full exhaust, and a nice lopey cam on your car and you'll notice how people start to leave you alone.
In my stage 2 heads/cam, full bolt ons with Corsa Sport Exhaust + converter and drag radials 05 GTO, I rarely ever got challenged on the street. That car just sounded too mean.

yessum.....in my G5 GT sum kid in a hatchback honda was all revvin his motor past the limiter with his coffee can exhaust, revved my motor a few times and got ready to drop the clutch, he gives me . I smiled and assumed the ready position.....green light.....Honda eats pontiac smoke

Sadly, alot of kids in high school think they can drive like vin deisel just cuz they watched the movies and took drivers ed WOOHOO it takes practice and know how to drive a car and cant just learn it in a day :\

ive been driving since i just turned 15 and im 21 now, im not a pro by any means but im very good compared to most my age. ive seen too many kids from the high school drive like crazy and im just like...okay?.....

nah man people drive around here drive 70-80 ALL the time, its like i cant go fast enough for people somedays

It's people and their damn 4 cylinders. Easy for them to go over 70+ and not waste as much gas as v6 especially v8's. I drive slow to try and conserve gas the prices are ridiculous now... Everyone here drives like a maniac and it bothers me, also all the college kids and their "modded" civics and eclipses always try to race me..

I wouldn't call them ricer, but as far as imports go, I get more 350z's trying to show out on me than anything. I don't much care anymore, I really don't have anything to prove....or maybe they're just not worth the gas lol.

I had some dude in a Buick Lucerne trying to race me in traffic the other day. And he had three people in the car. I just looked at him like he was stupid. Because he was. He would jump into the gas and leap the car forward and just look over to see if I was going to race. I eventually had to back off to keep the idiot from running into the back of someone. I hate stupid people.

I've not had anyone acting like a jerk while driving the Camaro. However, when I had my GTO, it was a different story. I have no clue why it was a magnet for teenage zit-faced punks, with the fart-can exhaust, wanting to race on Interstate 40.
