Do you drive on GMR often? I just got back from a weekday morning run taking advantage of an empty road. Yay unemployment.

So my big question, how quick do the paddle shifters shift? I heard the G8's manual shift mode is pretty slow, so I was wondering if they fixed that for this application.

Oh, and I'm so going out for a test drive now. WOOOOO!
I haven't gone up there, believe it or not! The paddle shifters seem like there was a little bit of lag. They don't throw you to the back of your seat or anything, but they are fun.

They are having an unveiling event next Thursday night at Glendora Chevy, car show, music, Camaros, etc!

It was a very nice interior for a cloth interior. I did notice that next to the traction control button by the shifter is a cigerette lighter. You just flip the cap up and you have a way to charge your phone, ipod, etc. E

I'll try to make it to that. Sounds fun. I think I'll have to try the automatic and manual before deciding. Many reviews have said the automatic is pretty darn good. Only way to know is the experience the lag myself.

Try to do a GMR run sometime. Just avoid weekends, when it is crawling with cyclists and sport bikers. The cyclists love to take breaks on the back side of blind turns right in the middle of the road, and sport bikers have a nasty habit of leaning far into your lane on turns.
