I snagged 4 of them up from the Chevy display down at the Daytona 500. Gave one to my Dealer who has not ordered any. The Dealers pay for those so no wonder not many have them. the number on the back is 12CHECAMZL1CAT01

When I mentioned to her that there have been a limited amount of these brochures showing up at some dealers, and also posted on E-bay, she wandered how they would have gotten them. Because according to her information, they are not to be released until mid-March.

So sounds like dealers may start receiving them in the next few weeks.

And just for the hellavit, while I had her on the line, I hinted that there are quite a few ZL1 owners getting rather impatient about receiving their cars, including those with pending orders. She was very apologetic and said Chevrolet values our input.

I'm trying to upload a photo of a brochure cover and open front page. Attachment 346624

There were plenty of ZL1 brochures and a Metallic Grey ZL1 (CTF) at the Gatornationals in Florida last weekend. The only thing that did not appear to be "production" were the black/aluminum wheel. I'm with the rest of you, sitting on an inactive tracking number.

I inquired with Chevrolet Customer Service about where to get one. They replied with a site where it could be downloaded. I replied back that I already was aware of the site, but that I wanted the original hard copy.

Here is what they replied back:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting Chevrolet and for your recent order of the 2012 Camaro ZL1! We appreciate the time you have taken to write us.

At this time, the Camaro ZL1 does not have a separate brochure. Information on the new ZL1 is included in the 2012 Camaro brochure. We would be more than happy to mail a 2012 Camaro brochure to you if you like.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

At Chevrolet, we strive to provide exceptional customer service. If we can be of any further assistance please email us or call 1-800-950-2438 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 9pm Eastern Time, and Saturday 9am to 6pm. Thank you for contacting Chevrolet!

Sincerely,

The Chevrolet Marketing Team

There's a conflict here. How can it be available to down load, but...At this time, the Camaro ZL1 does not have a separate brochure?

I will be calling them tomorrow for clarification.

The "separate" ZL1 brochure has been out for a couple months now,We had a whole box of 25 of them here at my dealership,I'm the one who ordered them!

I obtained two from a dealer friend who had 2 allocations but couldn't sell me one @MSRP. My dealer with 4 allocations currently says he will get each buyer one when they come in. I don't expect to be getting a brochure from him since he said they haven't gotten them yet. Like MS3DALE said, they had to order them.

Same here, I just love my fellow Camaro enthusiast's! My ZL1 collection just wouldn't be complete without one...oh yea and a real ZL1!

A box of brochures costs the store $75. It was less expensive to go on Ebay and buy one for each of my customers considering the 2012 allocation.

Does a box of brochures for each Chevy car/truck model also cost $75.00? How many brochures are in a box?

Is it going to come to dealers not giving brochures out to prospective customers unless they want to purchase them?

It's not a problem when you have vehicles to sell although you can see the push to digital media. Heck, it's almost impossible to reorder once you are out. In the case of ZL1, all were sold before the books were printed. Why bother to incur the expense just so others can profit on Ebay?
