If the rear ends are looked at closely............the Gen5's have to be the darling of the group. With the upward lift of its hips it appears to be smiling aka wearing Permagrin.

you always borrow what works. when you come up with something successful you try to incorporate it into other products.

The 2012 Equinox my wife bought has a lot of interior similarities, but I have not problem with that at all. They did a great job with the Camaro, why not borrow some of the designs for other vehicles.

Camaro could have been the test that wanted to check out with before indulging it into other vehicles. Well it worked

I know Chevy and others may be pursuing the brand recognition thing, but it just seems to me that over the last several years its getting to be a little too much with the similarities. With the Camaros they made no secret about using styling cues from the 1st gen and the vettes...but even the trucks and cars have similar grilles and what-not...To me it just seems that nice, eye-catching features being thrown onto every make and model kind of waters things down for all of them...

No big deal, nothing we can do about it. I'd just like to see them style the cars a little more uniquely...I can see the op's point and tend to agree.

The Dodge Charger follows the same tail lights that are used in the challenger. Who cares if it looks similar to the camaro.

I just want to state that the photo of the corvette rear for C7 or 2014 is what it will look like. The information has been validated by someone that is a GM employee. I dont think the corvette looks that bad. Maybe rounded edges on the rear but thats about it.

The SS concept drawing (the red one that looks like it borrowed the front end off a Silverado) showed up about 13 years ago, I think. The ship sailed on that car a loooooong time ago.

There are newer concept sedans--the latest of which looks like an Audi A7 with an elongated and raked c-pillar.
