On the east side, go down elliot past ellsworth take a right a right at the next light (lights not working yet) I believe it's signal butte. Go about a half mile and there is several places you can see gaurd rail for the circle track, you can see the cars through the gaurd rail. Bring some binocs or a good camera because it is about 200 yards away. Hope you have more time than I maybe you can get a pic. I have a feeling that they will be out again this sunday.

Hell yeah, I live at McClintock and University but have some friends out at ASU east campus at Williams Gateway. Definately gonna check out, I've got a digital camera with 10x optical zoom that should come in handy. I've got a lot to do this week, but hopefully by Saturday I can stop by.

^And just what does your buddy do again for GM?...or the proving grounds? I know details about the car might not be able to be revealed, but the type of work your buddy does should be fine posting on the internet. Just curious.

desert proving ground for Camaro test cars

went out to the track again this morning with camera in hand. there was 3 cars on the track. a yellow one a maroon one and same white one i saw last week. the white one is definetly that maromule. now the bad news , pictures did not come out. too far away and going too fast!!!. need a serious camera to get a decent shot. someone mentioned that black suberban appearing on the horizon, well it was a white crewcab truck, they did'nt say anything but the cars got off the track in a hurry. i hope that someone out there has a really good camera and make it out to the track next sunday, i have a feeling that they will be back next sunday. p.s. i can hear them from my backyard and they sound sweet. have not heard them testing like this since the c6 corrvette.
