Then GM boys and girls had their thinkin caps on when they put the fuel filler on the passenger side!

I got gas at a station yesterday that has one way traffic in.
Cars were lined up to fill up on the drivers side… but I pulled right up to an open pump… ON THE PASS SIDE!

Go Camaro Go!
I thought it was a great idea also. I always go to the gas station and the driver side lanes are filled up. You either have to go around or wait for someone to move. Good call on the placement.

Gas door on GM Cars has always been random

For many years I have rented GM cars, many makes and models, for business travel and I always had to check which side the hole was one. It varied widely. Does the Camaro have an indicator on the dash (a little gas hose symbol) indicating which side the hole is on? Most new cars do.

Camaro - Drivers
Trailblazer - Drivers
Cobalt - Passenger
New Camaro - Passenger

It will be balance for me. (And a 50/50 shot of getting it wrong LOL)

Its funny hearing about lines for pumps at the gas station going one way. In Southern California, you approach the pump from whichever way you very well please, and whoever gets the open spot first wins. That's why I liked my Cutlass with the fuel cap in the back. Either side worked.

Exactly!! I can't remember I was in a newer model car that didn't have that nifty feature... especially nice to know when one occasionally finds themselves in rental cars of various makes/models.

my '67 firebird had the filler right in the middle, I always thought that was perfect, you never had to worry if you were on the "right" side !

it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....
