$1,450 is a good price if it comes with headers, collectors, cats, x-pipe, and pipe to the axle. AR Headers for the G8 are in that range. If it is $1,450 for just headers, collector, & x-pipe then I agree it is expensive.

yeah...............$1450 only covers from the cat back. no cats. no headers.

i really want to go full headers back, but it's $3000 and i don't think that covers the cats!

i might just wait for the Vortech product line.

but hell, at least it's fun to drive right now bone stock! no big hurry

The Corvette "tax" is now extended to the Camaro.

$1600 for a catback?? Ouch.

Do we know what mufflers they are using on this system?
If so I'd be interested in just the "cans".

LOL The first Borla CB I bought was for my '95 Z28. I paid a little more than $600 to my door, and that was about '00. Then, in May of '03, I paid about $50 for pretty much the same system for my '02. List price, at that time, was more than $700 if I remember correctly, but there were still some sites that were listing the lower, earlier price. I got Summit to match the price (I just gave them the website and they didn't question it further) and only a year or so later, it was EVEN MORE! It seems like the trend was for the price to get closer and closer to the 'Vette price It just seemed to me the 'Vette price was more stable than Camaro/Firebird prices and nothing changed in the system (save for the I-pipe - and it was actually simpler). I can't really blame any of the companies because the 'Vette is dual exhaust, and so is Camaro now, so it makes a lot more sense now than it did then when it wasn't a dual. I'm interested in seeing how many of these high-end systems will use resonators in the OEM location, or just leave them out and stick with mufflers at the facia
