Steveo - can you tell us where on the bumper it started peeling - left, right side. Starting in a corner or "out of no-where in the middle". Pix if you got 'em would be helpful. Thanks

Yup, that's what I'm going to do, just gotta make sure to avoid those stupid rocks as I get my Camaro to a 3M installer!

I know this was about the paint peeling, just adding to how to help with rock scratches and dings..

A guy at work suggested this - he has one on his classic porsche. Who makes the best one - anyone on here have experience with them? What about waxing? Paint fade? Long term discoloration of the plastic itself? From what I understand, the clear bras don't attach as much as the adhere... kinda like a clear cover for your iPod or iPhone.... true?

the peel is along the top edge of the back bumper on the passenger side. The rock chips are 1. right in the middle of the hood 2. Along the windshield piece along the driver's side....waiting for my wife to take care of the pictures and she is gone right now.

Living right off of I-10 here in Houston and traveling it back and forth to work everyday has caused me my fair share of rock paint chips. With all the heavy equipment, big rigs, rock haulers etc. it is almost certain to get one. I have made it a practice to stay a good distance away from these big vehicles or haul butt around them. I know it will happen with the SS at some point and I will probably voimt and pass out.
