Keep in mind the factory stripes plant is down the road from the plant... not next door though... a couple of miles round trip I'd guesstimate. Not sure what that impact would be to single digits or not, but it might explain a higher number for a car with factory stripes vs. one without (might not if it's a big number like Trent's).

One of the areas being used for striping is probably 5 minutes away, the other is about 10 minutes away. I followed an IBM, RY, and IOM from the plant to the one striping depot "Kerr Industries" on Friday. Actually, at this point I'm not sure if Kerr is striping or providing assistance with QC. They have a TON of Camaros there.
Google says the route they took is about 4.5 miles each way. Actually - the route to the other striping place is about 4 miles each way. It's too bad Google Maps doesn't have more up to date satellite photos.. you would be able to see all of the camaros around the plant! http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...27895&t=h&z=16 |

My dealer said to expect 8 miles on it. They do prep at one of their other shops about 2 or 3 miles away.
