2010 Camaro good for how many lifetime miles?

How many miles does everyone think this car can handle? How many miles were people able to put on their 4th gen without a lot of maintenance?

The body can last over a million if corrosion is kept down.
The powertrain is modular so of course you can rebuild those components.

Idk about 5th gens but I know 4th gens are good well over 100k without a lot of problems. My 2002 SS has 98k on her and she runs fine.

That depends...

87K on the 89, runs like new

149K on this 92 wrangler and it still runs fine:

We also have a 98 honda with 184K that also runs great.

All cars get regular maint. and things fixed as required... which is often with the Jeep but it has almost 150K on it and we beat it senselessly. Moral of the story... 20 years, 17 years and 11 years, cars are built to run. I would expect many many thousand happily driven miles should be expected.

Mine will stay low but thats b/c we have 6 cars and really only drive the Honda (60 miles one way to work) everyday.

All GM card since 1997 are built for 300,000 minimum.Prior cars were built for 100,000 but majority lasted 200,00 or 300,000.So with care you could see 600,000 to 1 million.(expect anything plastic, rubber or electronic to give up at times.

Plan on keeping mine forever. And it will be a daily driver.
Do the normal maintenance, wash, wax, rinse the underside and fix whatever's broke asap before it becomes a problem and you'll get to see it age gracefully. Oh, don't beat the crap out of it by flying over curbs, potholes and snowbanks and loading it with everything you can fit in it from HomeDepot!
I've owned over 15 cars, many at a time and do most all my own maintenance - shortest length of time 7 years. One of them is going on 20 - my son's daily driver. The only problems I've had, honestly, is when I brought them to someone else to repair.
I can't tell you the number of times I've found missing screws, hangers, unfinshed sh!t while I was inspecting it. I usually make sure I do my own QC before I leave the place I have it repaired.

Its like when someone at work comes and "repairs" my PC. I make them wait til I've tried everything out before I let them walk away from my desk.

Proper maintenance can make your car last freaking forever.

Case in point, our '89 Safari. Over 300,000 miles and still running strong.

I only ask this because while some people will have the luxury of this being a weekend joyride car, I need it as a daily driver. I'm not sure how muscle cars hold up over time but the responses so far are comforting.
