I CALLED AVIS THREE TIMES TODAY, THEY SAY NO CAMAROS AVAILABLE IN NY. PLEASE SEND ME THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE OFFICE YOU USED. THANKS

I just called the city locations directly, they have them at these 3 avis locations:
East 43 212-593-8351

West 54 212-593-8463

Brooklyn..718-522-7404

I called the Minneapolis location directly on Monday and was told they have 12 Camaro's with ability to grab more from another location (agent was assuring me there would be one available for me when we arrive on the 17th). She wasn't sure whether they were the 2SS' that we saw on the early vin tracking thread or whether what they had were V6s. I tried the website after talking with her and it only showed a LT (no idea if they ordered 1LTs or 2LTs) as available for about $757 for a Wednesday through Sunday.

She further said not to book it online but to book a full sized vehicle and then get an upgrade at the counter where they could offer much better pricing over what was online.

I would say anyone trying to rent one in their area to just look up the direct location number and speak to an agent there for accurate information like if they have and how many.
