What's the idea behind plastic dip anyhow. I thought that was for coating the handles on tools.

I opened this thread and puked in my mouth. When I swallowed it again, the taste was better than that car looks.

dipyourcar.com, or find them on facebook. They do incredible work. I know I'm new here, but on behalf of plasti-dip, this is one of the uglier examples I've seen.

Plastidip is a GREAT thing. NOT in this situation though. HA

For very cheap ($6 a can that can do a set of wheels no problem) it lets you "paint" ideas on your car(stripes; accents; wheels; cover up chrome; graphics etc..... and see how it looks) If it sucks, peel it off. If you like it, leave it on or peel it off and paint, vinyl or whatever for a more permanent "mod".

Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should! Said by someone important who I can't remember.

Not knocking the plastidip product, I know it's great stuff, just not for this. IMO

gross..

I've seen a couple plasti-dipped cars in the past few months.. the first issue to me is they are not smooth, they are rough like spray on bed liners..

the second issue is that in large amounts it is no longer black but actually a grey color and when it gets wet it looks like ass, quite literally like someone has $hit dripping down their ass.. you get white hazy streaks where the water is running off.

horrible, just horrible.. on a $60K or even a $30K vehicle just S T U P I D..

$5K $hit box POS beater car with rust spots, yeah might make it stay together a bit longer..

a $60K brand new car.. F A I L x
