Make sure you hit them with a "diminished value" claim!

Airbags only blow with a front impact (maybe a side impact with the "side airbags').

I would have been in jail...

What the hell is going on with people hitting these Camaro's?

There are about 12 total on the roads in the US and I think 8 have been hit!

Have to agree with you!
I live in Oregon and WA drivers always use HWY 30 to go to Longview. These people always drive 10 - 20 mph under the posted speed limit. You Know it's the white sign w/ black lettering. Why???? Seems they just can't see them.
They cause all of the traffic to back up, they won't pull over and allow the traffic to pass. Their driving in their own little world and totally oblivious to whats going on around them. Now Oregon drivers are no different, not very observant, but most do drive 5 - 10 mph over the posted speed limit. I think it's all of the cops that are patrolling in the SW corner of the your state and there are very few cops in the NW corner of my state. WA drivers suck, I must agree!

So sorry about your car. Any sheet metal damage other than the rear plastic?
Hope it's back on the road soon.

I noticed the same thing when I moved to WA from California. I was used to driving 90 on 70, in heavy traffic, blowing right by highway patrol that didn't care that you were speeding.

I think the WA drivers are conditioned to drive slow...

Might have something to do with WA state having the most State Troopers per capita than any other state in the US. To top that off, they'll nail you for doing 1 MPH over the 60 MPH limit on a highway. To top that off you only get 20 moving violation tickets within a 5 year period before they suspend your license up to 5 years. "Any" moving violation counts, including failure to signal, 1 mph over the limit, running a yellow light, etc.

Nazi police in WA have the locals in fear of speeding. Your slow-assed visitors are being cautious Im sure.

While I'd argue that on the whole WA drivers aren't better or worse than in a lot of other areas, I have seen a lot of idiots out there.
More to the point, it does suck that another jerk smacked into a brand new Camaro.

Hey, I just figured out the problem with the driver. He has a Honda and is a UW fan. Either one can be bad, both together is just plain horrible. He probably thought he had nothing to live for.

Maybe he confused IOM with RJT and screamed 'WSU' in a seething fit of anger as he slammed on his gas peddle!

On another note, this vehicle is a TANK!! I totatly believe the 5 star crash rating after looking at these accident with Camaros. Its amazing how little damage the Camaro actually receives compared to the other vehicles.
