HP number looks a little high. Crankshaft HP is calculated not measured. Corvette experience tells me that the drivetrain loss is about 11 percent when the pull is done in 4th gear. The dyno shop may have given you a few HP in the calculation.

To get a good comparison of dyno pulls I always use my own weather station and do the SAE correction myself.

Lawdogg. Thanks for posting this dyno reading up. I can feel the difference in mine from the seat but I thought it might be just the engine getting broke in a bit. This is very good results. I really was not expecting more than 5HP out of the straight pipe mod and hoped for another 5 when CAI mod complete. I am working on getting info on another inexpensive mod for the CAI. Using the existing factory plastic box and mass flow sensor, my plans are to modify the factory intake box and install a high flow CAI filter inside to increase air intake to aftermarket specs. I will let you know and post up a video as I get that done. Once again thanks for the documentation. Your job looks great by the way. I see you also saved those stock factory tips.. SS looks really good too!

Great let me know. I have a great connection for a dyno that is free. I will do anything cheap that will give any gains.

We did a muffler delete on a 6.0 G8 GT. Better yet, we tested the G8 GT mufflers by disconnecting them completely from our header system and gained a whopping 3 HP. Granted the LS3 produces more power but 17 RW seems high considering our header system gained 32 rw before the tune and with stock mufflers.

that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

Man thats great bro keep up the good work. Best bang for the buck would be a muffler delete and a set of 275 35 20 drag radials hands down. I would be willing to bet an average driver could run mid 12's with ease
