It also depends on how much your willing to push the limits on blower. Mine has a conservative tune at 7.5 psi and I have had zero issues with it. I drive it real hard 50% of the time in the morning going to work and rest of the time is cruising at 80ish. Its my daily driver and I drive 100 miles a day, thats why I'm creeping up on 70,000 miles on it.

I love the whine it kicks when you gas it, worth every dime in gas

You didn't.....there are pro's & con's (all the SC solutions) that you will need to comprehend & truly understand to allow you to make the best decision on your specific application of how you will use the vehicle (street, strip, autocross, top-speed). Obviously, you want the majority of the pro's to fulfill your objectives in relation to the investment $$$$$.

Some reputable hipo shops on this forum offer numerous vendor SC solutions for specific applications, you may want to call them as part of your due diligence & education to make the best decision, that's all.....

KB has a liquid cooled head unit now. i know nothing more than that but if its liquid cooled you can keep the iats down with a tank and ice...thats how everybody else does it.

The LC units run hot too, the KB was not designed around the Camaro, simply adapted from the mustang.

From my experience with my KB on my 03cobra it does have some heat issues, but so did the factory "H"EATON blower. The screws are pretty dang tight causing a hot run temp and raising the IAT's But the KB's are also incredible if you're going to have a motor that demands higher boost #'s.. They can do 18-20PSI all day long like a champ. If I go FI I will definitely go Kenne Bell again 2.8LC and meth injection to battle the heating issues. If you go twin screw they're all going to heat soak somewhat, its in their design. If you want brutal power with a force through the throttle body look at someone like the Procharger D1sc

Heat Soak isn't that bad with the KB when you compare them to other PD blowers (running meth helps too), and IMO it's definitely the best looking one out there. They make tons of power (my L99 with headers, exhaust, and KB put down 536rwhp and gained 20rwhp with tuning meth for saftey (didn't even finish the tune to see how we can push it because I have a new build plan already). Only issue with them is the stock intake tube it too big. Ted from JRE can get that taken care of for you though.

Here's some eye candy for you.

If you are having Tuning problems with the older style KB intake tube. Contact KB and they will sort you out with a new tube with the Maf sensor relocated and a honey comp insert all at know charge. At least that's what they did for me Saved me spending any money with any suppliers.
