Here is mine, shocking how many people don't get it. When I filled out the personalized plate form the girl at the BMV whispered to another girl working there "he spelled it wrong, should I tell him?"
Is it that hard to get? If so many people have a hard time with my plate, they are never going to figure yours out.  Russ |

Most people don't know what he 1LE is anyway. Only camaro enthusiasts will get it. I would just do something with the SS or SS1LE as someone suggested. Alternative would be to get a different plate design where you can use a space?

Just get a frame that "helps" explain it to those not in the know. I got tired of people asking me if i was in the naval reserve, so I put a frame around mine.

Most people won't know or care whether you have a SS or 1LE. Changing it would only be for your benefit (and a couple of dudes on the internet who have the same car) but we all know what you have anyway

Thanks for the comments guys. I agree I don't think anyone will know regardless of whether there's a space or not so I'm just going to keep it.
My car speaks for itself as does every camaro so it shouldn't be an issue.
