Pirelli Ice and Snow Winter Tires for sale - size 245/55R18
I purchased the Pirelli Ice and Snow Winter Tires, size 245/55R18 last winter. With the factory tires, my 2010 Camaro slid constantly on ice and snow. I can tell you that the Pirelli Ice and Snow tires are FANTASTIC. I did not slide once after installing them. I have since had to sell my Camaro but still have the tires. They can be used year round if you want but I only used them in the winter. They were only used for two months last winter. They cost over $700 and I am willing to sell them for $400 OBO. Call me if you are intersted.

Help! Some of you out there are year-around drivers like me, and live where the snow flies. As I research, seems like putting on 18" rims and snows make the most sense, rather than putting 20" snows on current rims. Feedback?
Also, as I talk w/tire dealers, the load bearing capacity has come up and I hadn't seen any info on that w/other posts nor on the tirerack website. Again, feedback? I will drive it daily, though work isn't far, but believe me, if it snows a bit or there are ruts or ice, this car doesn't handle well AT ALL!!

It seems you are quite knowledgeable about Cams, did you put the tires on yourself? Do they meet the load bearing capacity qualifications?

MNBlackCam, seeing as how you have a LT....the ABSOLUTE best thing you could do would be to get some 18's (I would think there should be some OEM Factories laying around for sale, CHEEP) and put your snow tires on them, and recommend running 245's. Having s SMALLER footprint in the snow actually HELPS traction, as it allows the weight of the car push through and contact the road.

I use Yokohama Parada Spec X, quite pleased with them.
