So the IDL on the 9th mentioned 20 " snow tires. Will this be added as an option from the dealer?

yea i would like someone to chime in on this, im in Chicago, Illinois so this is a huge ? for me.

If you read the quote, It says Perelli reccomends them if you live in snowy areas.

I take that to mean, "Hey if you don't want to cream a streetlight, buy some winter tires"
And that Pirelli just happens to make winter tires that fit a 20 inch rim. Those should cost a mint.

Unfortunately, the Pirelli's only fit the rear wheels.

Get a POS truck for that kind of driving. My vette stays parked in bad weather. I use an old S10 for that and parking in bad area of town lol.

We may need to go to a brand otehr than Pirelli for either All Seasons, or Snow Tires that fit all 4... I wish not though.

I plan to drive to BJAA and spend a month in South west next Jan. But have to get thru the Grants Pass snow to get there ... Sure do not want to take 2 or 4 tires with me.

I want to get 4 plain steel wheels and 4 snow tires for the winter. In the long run, it may be less expensive than replacing the 20" summer tires as often.

What I want to know is; how can we figure out what plain jane wheels will fit the car? We don't need for them to be 20" wheels and tires. In fact, it may be better for the winter to have small diameter wheels and that would certainly provide more and less expensive tire options.

I'm also going to be very happy to keep my 20" wheels away from the salt all winter!
