Hey Jayson71, You can take a picture of your dash while driving at 73mph?
I'd be worried about ending up in a ditch if I did that. How fast can you drive while reading the newspaper and drinking coffee at the same time?

Heh, any of these number are ok with me, my current car (99 Grand Prix GT, 3.8 L V6) gets about 16 mpg (15 L/100 km) around town, wouldn't call it city driving, as i mostly avoid stop and go traffic, as i make a very concerted effort to not drive during rush hours.

So considering i can expect the same or greater fuel efficiency AND DOUBLE the horsepower.....i THINK i could settle for that...possibly....

The DIC is very close. When I have checked my mpg the DIC is if anything .5 mpg less than when I do the math, Over 3,500 on my 1 SS now. MPG gets better with more mileage on the car.

The sticker on a v6 says 29 now on the v8 30mpg is something short of AMAZING!!!!

I'm getting around 14 MPG with mostly highway miles. It’s just so hard not to gun it!
Any driving suggestions to improve fuel efficiency?

I always shift around 2500 but haven't thought about skipping gears. Maybe I need to reset the driver info. screen. In fact I cruse around 1800 in 6th on the highway when I can.

I also only have 566 miles on it so it could improve! BTW are all of you using 91 octane gas?

I use 93 octane only! I will run out of gas and walk to the next gas station before I put anything less in it.
