A friend has a personalized license plate of "ROLLIN" and he gets looked at all of the time but when he travels and uses a rental, nobody bothers him.

I got bugged left and right with my 96 camaro and once i sold it nothing its been crickets and i drive 100% the same never changed. What u are driving makes a huge difference.

I was in my GTO today and had a VSP Virginia State Police on me for a bit. May be it was my Navy Unit Logo on the back. I was doing the speed limit, got out of the left lane, then he passed me. I guess you have to know when to play. I do have a 2SS on order.

well, i don't know about anywhere else, but here in houston, when an officer writes a ticket, and goes to court on it, he get's paid overtime b/c court is 95%(just throwing a # out) of the time off duty on his own time. So, whether we go 15 min or 1 hr, we get paid 2hrs time and a half. Some officer's end up going last durring traffic court so they're there 4-6 hrs. So there are some officers who write a ton of tickets every day to stack up their court dates to maximize court time. It's better then getting an extra job b/c depending on the officer's time/rank in service, he'll make anywhere from $30/hr (rookie) to a lot more.

I thought I was the only one...

Picked up the Camaro at 2pm on Jun 19th in Michigan and didn't get a ticket until 4:30pm on June 20th in Georgia. Not sure what was worse seeing the trooper's lights or telling the wife that I already spent $422 on the new car- she didn't laugh after asking "oh what did you buy for it."

Good! Im glad u guys got pulled over. Im also glad you didnt get a ticket, though. There is nothing more that pisses me off than when people don't use their damn signals. I mean for real. its not the difficult to move ur left figure a little and pull up or down on a small lever. sorry for the rant, I just can't stand it.

Had mine since June 1st with no front plates. I've passed tons of cops in the city and even have seen them givin me the once over... no tickets. Also passed 2 troopers doing 84mph in a 65mph on the highway and they just looked at me. All in all I do actually just drive the limit most of the time and don't do anything outlandish.

I got a ticket on Friday as I was leaving the dealership, I wasn't happy.

I went in there to check out the delivery times, prices for a 2LT and a 2SS spec'd up how I wanted it to compare. Sat in a 1LT, saw a 2SS/RS there, but no test drives.

As I left the dealer, I got distracted, left from the wrong exit and ended up on the freeway and not the back roads I normally take. Not 2 miles down the road, I was pulled over, 80 in a 60.

There goes the money I had saved up for a deposit for my Camaro... *sigh*

Obviously you didn't read my other thread... turn signals are one of my pet peeves too. I always use them... This guy simply wanted to talk about the car...
