That CGM one looks real nice. I would lower my car, but I'm just scared that I might go over the wrong speed bump.

I would be a little worried over speedbumps with lowering springs AND ground fx! just going to stick with the springs

+1

Also, inorder to use these type of lowering kits, you must first make sure that your roads are not full of pot-holes like the ones I drive on are otherwise, you will be doing frequent repairs to the underbody!

Generally, performance springs can give a car drastic upgrade in handling and performance. Granted, the new Camaro's suspension is probably a better ride than any of us have ever felt, so I can't say with much knowledge how much of a performance can be gained.

But what I can say is some cars benefit considerably with good springs. I had a 2004 Sonata a few years back. Real plush, body roll big time, not too much fun to drive - a family grocery getting. A few months later I installed B&G performance springs. The springs lowered the car about 2" all around and improved the handling a lot. Complete with 18" wheels and Perelli tires (ironically the same ones exactly GM is putting on the Camaro), I was able to enjoy the back roads of PA. I honestly felt my nerve would quit before the suspension and tires did.
