Why don't you drive it? Why do you let it just sit there when you have already paid for it or are still making payments? Again, don't take this the wrong way. I'm just wondering.
If you owned a Bentley, would you drive it every day?

Must confess I'm a bit disappointed. I saw the title "Garage Queens" and was expecting something a tad more sexy/kinky than this but carry on anyway. I'll keep looking.

Not true at all. My camaro actually gets better gas milage over my truck.

When you (not directed at anyone in particular) make my car payment you can tell me how to and when I can drive the car.

Yeesh, the OP states twice that he's trying not to offend people, and people still get defensive...touchy group :P
My baby is weekend fun only as well. I only drive about 5 miles to work, and the 6.2L barely warms up in that time. So my cavalier remains the dd. camaro has only added about 1800 miles in 8 months, but they were 1800 awesome miles!
Also, the camaro beats out my 99 dakota r/t by at least 4-6mpg on avg.

So, probably the strongest reasons...the GQ model owners have a different car to DD, either because of vastly better mileage, reducing the risk of accidental damage, or were purchased strictly for recreational driving.

Because we are not stupid enough to ruin our cars in Fargo NORTH DAKOTA and rust the crap outta them when we dont have too to start with. My 2010 2ss/rs 10,700 mile camaro always is polished, never gets dirty, never worries about salt roads and rust, daily rocks, stupid drivers, or constantly looking horrible from the daily weather/road rash it would endure. My jeep handles that daily. And yes we can afford them and yes we have insurance, were just not stupid enough to put our cars through all that stupidity of weather when we dont have too. Try it sometime you will enjoy it

This may well be the only time a Camaro is ever compared to a Bentley...

Got car march 2012, as of today I have 7k miles.

PA roads suck. Traffic in cranberry is stupid. So easier to drive my mazda to work and keep the camaro for sunny days and car shows.

I want to keep mine in nice minty condition, that's why mine is a GQ. I cant see why this gets under some peoples skin but it does. I have some extra money but I don't spend it all either, is that OK?

I'm just at 17k miles on her, picked her up new on Dec 29 2010.

No snow or rain here, why? Because I don't want to, and I don't have to, that's what the Lexus is for..

Not a GQ, but not a DD either...I drive my truck M-F for work. It's parked in the garage sometimes. My wife gets the garage most of the time. Camaro gets driven in the am to Dunkin Donuts, gym, daycare...and in the afternoon sometimes as well. Definitely driven on nice weather weekends! 15 months old-4900 miles!

My plan is to keep it a long time, maybe be my sons first car...he's 3...

I wouldnt call mine a GQ but it will get stored in the winter (oct-mar). i got mine in mar of '13 and have 6500 miles.

the problem with a sports car is some buy them as their DD or their only car. Hovever (and a poll would be nice) as to see how many buy them and have many other vehicles. im willing to bet that more poepole have atleast one other car than the ones that dont.
