Garage Queens
Don't take this the wrong way. But to all you Garage Queen owners out there. Why? I wonder why some of you own a 2010 2SS with every option and yet they only have 3000 miles on the car. Why don't you drive it? Why do you let it just sit there when you have already paid for it or are still making payments? Again, don't take this the wrong way. I'm just wondering.

Tweiten, I hear you, but yeah I have a 2011 SS/RS with 17,700 miles, I love my car but yes it is for fun in the sun car, it looks far better in the sun than the rain. Of course it is not my daily driver. I do plan to put a supercharger on it, just to get from 0-60 even faster not to race. The more you drive it the more wear and tear it gets, the carpet over time gets dirty and matted even with cleaning it, if it rains out side you track that through the car. As well as i am worried about driving it fast in the ran, I am equally as scared to drive it in the snow because of all of the other idiots out there, and the salt gettting caked on the paint. I hope in 30-40 years it will still be as cool as the 67 Camaro's. Again I love my car, hell i sweep it out every time i drive it, but its mad for the sunny days I feel. Mine is paid off as well.

Two and a half years old, and 14K miles....
I don't always drive my Camaro, but when I do, it's for enjoyment only, either cruising or at the track.... |

I got mine used with 12K miles on it back in July 2011. I've put 12K miles myself on it in the 2 years I've had it. Certainly gets driven but no need for my daily commuting.

Ive had mine since May 2010, shes got 17,000 miles...
I drive an 05 Mazda3 for my 80 round trip commute to work. I take the SS out for little trips on days off, track days, and roadtrips to Phoenix/San Diego/Vegas. So I guess with those long roadtips, u could call it even more of a Garage Queen since they're the bulk of the miles. But Like others said, its mine and I'll do what I want.

I guess if you were older you would understand. Sometimes my car may sit for weeks until the weather is right. Its different when you have 4 vehicles to choose from. You will get there one day. To you its a car, to others that knew what it was before it came out it is more than that.

It's my weekend/vacation car. While it does get better mileage than my Silverado. It's not the same as my Corolla.
And it's not really a money issue, it's more a matter of all the nimrods on the road. I drive over 80 miles round trip everyday and see all kinds of BS on the highway. The Corolla is for work, the Camaro goes everywhere else. |

Ive got a cool truck and motorcycle to spread the miles out on. And we use my wife's car for the family car. Life is good, don't worry about my Camaro... I'll probably trade up when it needs tires...

I have had mine since the end of winter, and only has 2,000 miles. It is not my only car and I only drive it in nice weather. I plan on keeping it forever, and handing it down when I die. I am only in my mid twenties, and will not be driving it into the ground. It is also one of several cars, and financially it isnt a huge deal. I do this with several other cars as well.

My 2010 just rolled over 11,000. I like the sunny days. I get enjoyment out of slowly modding the car and driving it on the weekends. It's paid for. My wrangler is my DD and its also a blast to drive in the rain and everywhere actually.

My son and I are modding it slowly and it will be his when he is old enough to drive. As others have stated; we have other cars as DD. 160 mile round trip to work and dealing with crappy Philly roads and interstate traffic are also reasons for me.
