Have you notice any improvement on MPG?

You can use header wrap but that is really overkill for the intake.

Jegs makes an intake wrap, it is really simple and can be pulled off and cleaned as well.

If you are going to use header wrap make sure to use the titanium from DEI, it lasts longer, insulates better and higher temperatures and does NOT require silicone sealing.
