Yea I know that's why I am eventually throwing in the garbage and going with OBX headers which are 302 Stainless Steel. I feel like an idiot for paying $800 to have my headers rust up and look like shit after 1 1/2 years. The top of the headers look great, the bottom near the cats look horrendous.

OP the rust you have is minor, the rust I have looks like car cancer. I would have pics but my car is in the shop because someone smashed the front end of it. If you don't want rust on your headers look for stainless steel and then having them "professionally" coated, after a few months depending where you live and when you drive your car you should start to see the rust forming.

The ceramic coating is a joke.

Since you live in Florida you will be fine. You don't get real winters so if you drive your car all year round you should be ok.

The BBKs are 304 stainless. Even though I am in Florida I will be getting the 304 stainless ones because I don't know if I will always be in Florida and to me the extra cost for the stainless is worth it.

Some possible good news, Autoanything is going to push for a return vs warranty with BBK, credit me back all the money, then give me an additional discount on the 304 headers. And just in case they can't, they gave me a 20% off code for the 304 so at worst I'll pay a $30 difference. So for future reference, buy what you can from Autonything, they have some of the best customer service I've seen.

UPDATE: Autoanything sent me a 20% code so I could upgrade to the 304 headers for $30. Absolutely fantastic customer service. I will be going to them when it comes time to switch out my brakes and rotors for sure. I just got my headers installed today and man they are nice.

Nice, the wait is definitely worth it. Just don't forget the costs of install and extras if wanted. There is a slight rasp under certain loads but I personally like it so no big deal. You may want an x pipe if you don't.

Glad to hear it all worked out.

For those looking for the X pipe. It is not the satndard one, it is the MAgnaflow Resonated X Pipe 11386. There is a differance.

I will be doing the install In my garage so the only cost I have for install is for a set of metric impact sockets for my dad's 3/8th air ratchet. But I do have quite a few extra things to but that total up to about 500 and then the tune.

Nice! I paid $130, and did the install with the shop guy. the passenger side was not bad at all, the diver's side sucked! The starter was a bit of a pain. And when it comes time to plug in the O2 sensors, follow the driver side cable to where it starts and just give it a bit of tug. It should give you about a half inch which is all you need.
