How does this work compared to the RX can. My RX is plumbed inline between the back of the valve cover and the inlet on the intake.
It looks like this one only has an inlet and no outlet to the intake.

All catch cans hook up the same, it is just that our outlets are on the side of the can rather than on top like RX. I did not notice it until you pointed it out but it is obscured in those pictures.

Just my opinion... don't care for the mounting location/bracket used. To me my alternate vendor can looks more factory/stealth from rear position mounting.

Is there any reason/benefit behind the front location mounting?

From a aesthetic standpoint you can not please everyone so we were aiming for a clean look that was not too flashy but was clearly not a stock part either. Something that would be at home under the hood of a bolt on street car or a full show car. That mounting location was chosen because it offered more stability and was easier to access.
