We know that a lot of you have been interested and waiting patiently so I wanted to post a couple pictures of our LLT/LFX catch can. In these photos it is mounted in Camaro5 member Flashpoint135's car. Hopefully he will drop in and leave some feedback. After already having had a full valve replacement done under warranty due to carbon build up he was very eager to be a test subject. As you can see it mounts in a very similar fashion as the SS/ZL1 but with an application specific bracket.

I am actually going through the same process of a full valve replacement thanks to carbon buildup, except mine isn't under warranty...
So this will probably be my first purchase when all of this is done

Oh wow. Hate to hear that. How many miles do you have? The LLT and LFX engines are direct injection just like the new Gen 5 V8s in the Stingray and GM trucks. There is no fuel flowing over the intake valves to help clean them off and it just keeps building up.

Does it matter how many miles I have on my car? I guess what I'm trying to say is it already to late to put it on 16000 miles engine, or it is too late?
Thanks, |

WOW, you racked up some miles! If the money is comparable I would just go with the fresh engine.

Do you have a bracket that would work with the Vararam intake for the LLTs?

I want to get one of these at C5 in a few weeks. Any chance I get some help installing on site?

You are hitting it hard too! I will be flying in on Thursday and hanging out at C5Fest on Friday but we will not be setting up a display. After crunching the numbers we just could not justify the expense. |
