I will go ahead and pick up the gears then. If it's like 2nd then I'm not going to be leaving hard enough. I'm running nitto street drags now and do not care for them at all!! I have to get them really really hot and still don't hook wroth crap. The tires will be coming as soon as I get the car back to were I want it. And that's eating mustangs lol my good friend has a gutted 88 gutted on nos and I'm ready to shut him up. He's running high 10s low 11s witch is good but if I can get my car to hook right and cut a good 60' I should be low 10s no problem. Like I said my goal is to see the 9s and I will be very happy to keep her right there and with a vert that's crazy fast lol will be next year before I can start pushing for that kind of time slips.

So you like the 3.91 gears with your set up? If you were to do it over again would you go with the same or the lower 3.73 or the higher 4.11. I might want to see how it's acting off the line before I get some. Unless I run across a deal

Yeah I have some grow room with the 3.91. On my best run of a 10.36 AT 133 MPH at that speed was at 6600 RPM I have my rev set at 7000 got 400 to play with. As far as the 4.11 goes they come apart and the 3.73 is not enough gear for my set up. Would like to be fast enough to trap right at 6900 to 7000 rpm. Its going to be a few month here for some good air to run in looking for Oct to come back.

Hey try you a set of 305/45/18 mickey Thomson on a 18X11 rim. My first set of DR was nitto 555r20" had to heat the hell out of them to get them to hook my best 60' was a 1.57 on them. I was blowing them off most of the time.

Yeah that sounds about right. I looked the specs up today after you said it. The next thing I do is going to be getting a set of rims and tires just for the track and a hp tuner to load diff tunes for the rims and weather when ever I need. Going to take me a good bit of time to learn all about it but I really like doing things my self and love doing it. The weather here right now is great man 68-72 but the heat is coming and I most likely will miss my window with this Trans swap. I call the DSS and pretty much begged them to get mine out faster (you know cause I'm a fellow Carolina boy lol) and not happening.. Said to call them next Friday and they will know my ET's. Freaky Friday is a lot of fun every 1st Friday of every month... You ever get the chance come up it's a lot of fun and I flip homes and may have one you could crash in. Just depense on timing and if they get sold as fast as they get finished.. But have one that having a birthday lol
