U can always try http://uswheelexchange.com/

They have a exchange system, where they send you a set of chromed wheels and you send yours to them as a core charge. Plus they do black chrome as well!!!

Hello all! This is my first post. I have a LS3 2SS RJT w/beige int on its way.(no stripes or sunroof) I opted for the painted wheels, becuase I will be having them chrome plated. This is the company I will be using:

http://chromeyourwheels.com/index.htm (site isn't really up to date, but he's old school like that. I would call him for further info. Curtis Gay 909-595-0144)

He has also done a couple Camaros for Hibbard Chevrolet in Claremont, CA.

I didn't get a chance to see the Camaros yet, but I did see the owner's pick-up and I was impressed with his work.

$685 for all 4 (price includes wheel removal, tire removal, preparation, plating, balance and reinstall) However, he does not do the caps. He did say the factory machine-finished plastic caps did look good on the chormed wheels. I guess you can always pay $120 for the GM chrome plated caps if you want.

I saved myself $450 for the polished aluminum rims and ordered my 2SS RJT w/standard painted wheels. Instead I'll pay an additional $235 and get this beautifully finished product instead:

I WAS ORIGINALLY GOING THE SPEND THE EXTRA $120 AND GET THE CHROME CAPS DIRECTLY FROM GM, BUT I REALLY LIKE THE WAY THE ORIGINAL MACHINE-FINISH CAPS LOOK WITH THE CHROME WHEELS.

See post #18.

I haven't seen Cal Chrome's finished product in person. But I have seen CICC's finished product in person and I am very impressed. If you're interested, call Curt at 909-595-0144. His shop is located in Pomona, CA. He just purchased a set of OEM wheels from GM to use as cores. That way there is no down time. He also ships anywhere in the country.

Chrome

Almost all of the chrome wheel exchangers are on the west coast. None of them will warranty their wheels for winter weather conditions, i.e., snow, salt, etc.

That may work in Cal, or in the south, but for the rest of the world, there is US Wheel. US Wheel guarantees their chrome wheels for 5 years...even for winter conditions (snow and salt). They have black chrome also.

off topic, but what you did with the ground effects with the blackout but being panted body color is what GM should've done from the factory. That looks REALLY REALLY nice.
