Unfortunately my problem was with all vents open, it was a little lower level whistle (quiet compared to that sound) then what it does with all vents closed.
The part came in, scheduling the service appointment, I will give you all the update on the the completed repair status.

Mine does it intermittantly. Usually if I cange the blower speed or close one vent or another it will dissapate. Myabe we'll get a TSB on this one.

Mine has the same problem but not all of the time. It is annoying sometimes.

Sorry for the delay updating. I did get the motor replaced, however I still have the same issue. It sounds more like a problem with the vent tubes instead of the blower motor. It makes the noise more at setting 2 and 3, and more at 55mph and above, and defiantly more consistent at 70 (Interstate speeds). My guess would be something with the air return venting tubes/line, but I am no engineer so Any help with this would be great.

I have not had a chance to get it back to the dealership to have them look at it further. Anyone else out there had this issue looked at by the dealer? Any deffinate fix?

i have air coming out of my winshield defroster with everythig off is this common?

My thought would be no, this is not normal. This may be part of the same issue several of us are having. I still think this is a problem with the vent controll that opens one vent and closes another, or the vent tubing. Hopfully GM can find a solution.

wow, I assume every camaro has this issue because it's common among all levels. . . yet there hasn't been enough fuss about the situation in order to have GM look at it...
