No, the GM plug wires are very good in themselves. Not unless they are old and failing, which none of these cars are that old yet.

NGK TR6s for all motor/cammed LS3s and TR7IX for turned up boosted LSA/9 cars! these are no longer 100k mile A/C Delco plugs either. Swap them out at 20-30k miles max.

I changed my wire's when I put my Kooks headers on they where 2" and the wire's seemed a little to close for my comfort better safe then sorry!!
