Nice try though but really not a good comparison, buyers would be much better off waiting for the new GT350 or picking up a used 13/14 500.

Also I hope they have better luck than Roush's attempt at a supercharged 5.0.

Be careful, I have a friend with a Silver 5.0 (2014) automatic, looks stock, sounds stock, has a Roush supercharger package with headers. With drag radials ran 10.30 @ 132 +, NO JOKE, and then they kicked him off the track for no roll bar.

I've read several times now that there is only 7 lbs of boost......is there any truth to this?

Helping the Coyote V8 breathe more deeply is a high-flow throttle body and stainless-steel exhaust system. Maybe and most likely its a typo and should read something like 17.25psi.
