September Relase date Camaro?

I would love 21/22 Inch tires to be standard on the V8 however we all know that isn't going to happen. A better poll would be do you want to have the option to order from factory those tires? However I did vote yes as I would like to see them as option's.

For those seeking a convertible Camaro, you'll have to wait until Monday, December 7, 2009 — a little bit late for the 2009 convertible season in northern climates. Look for them to start showing up at dealers in late December or early January depending on where you are in the United States.

GM is building 30 Camaro's but they're doing it for a "TOP SECRET" reason. These Camaro's will be ready and drivable by mid September but not for sale. They won't be for some public show or anything either.

That's right, I've been given to some very delicate information, but I can't say anymore without blowin' the whole thing.:(

I spoke to a guy yesterday that's been car shopping in my area. He was told by a local dealership (just last weekend) that they won't be selling the new Camaro until May 2009.
And they also said the first Camaro's will be spoken for. If that's true it could be next summer?

I hope that's not true.

Tell him to tell the dealership to get their facts straight.

1st Quarter of 2009 means anytime from January to March. That's what GM has been saying since the beginning, and that's what their saying now.

im stoked n all about the new camaro... i voted no on the pole for being standard but option yes.... i would like to see another t-top in the z platform yet its probably not going to be done.....i cant wait till they come out....my wofe wants one....another ting on options they should have options for your motor that are factory like a supercharger hell ford did it and is pushing 500 out y cant chevy do it......dont get the wrong idea im not doging on chevy i own one and i love it i have a 35 annaversary...what type of perdormance options would yall like to see?

Don't forget about waiting lists. Also, I'll be waiting a few months for the kinks to get worked out. Every production car has a few things that need to be fixed after production.
