Last Year - Careless Driving for doing a burnout in an empty parking lot at night
This year - 14mph over (39 in a 25). I'll be the first one to say "Yeah...I deserved that", but to be fair no one I know realized the road was a 25mph limit. It's a commercial road outside of campus. Live and you learn.

That said - I deserve so SO SOOO many more.

This fall I got pulled over for my window tint... Which IS darker than legal in Minnesota (MN limit is 50%, I have 35%) but I have a prescription for 30%. So it IS legal. I expect to get harassed for it, I get it. Being a ginger, the sun is my (im)mortal enemy.

The trooper didn't like the prescription, so he instead gave me a ticket for 64 in a 60, and scratched my quarter panel with his utility belt. Was completely unapologetic for it, to make it worse. Turned in a tort claims report, which was conveniently lost, and now is too late to claim.

Got one last night after a decade of being ticket free for 15 mph over. Cop hardly said two words, passed me my lic. and reg through the pass window and said slow down and I thought i'd got a warning. Nope, got a $195 fine and 3'points on my license.mit was the 3 rd cop car I had seen in 5 minutes of driving and was only a mile from my highway exit. DAMN!

Knock on wood... I haven't gotten a ticket since I was 18 years old in my 05 Goat. I did however get a verbal warning this year for 126 in a 70. He was a local PD on an interstate and said he couldn't give me a ticket unless he called a state trooper out (not sure if this was accurate but I agreed)(my buddy in the car thought I was going to jail since I was taken out of the car). None the less, it was 3 am and I was sober and trying to enjoy the cool air at night. Other than that I think I should have a stack of speeding tickets and possibly reckless driving..(not bragging, just being honest)

Really doesn't seem to matter why around here. If you hit someone in the rear you get the ticket.

Late summer 2011 I took delivery of my 2012 1SS Vert. Had my personalized plates transferred from my old 85 Firebird Vert. Right after I bought it, the state shut down. I got pulled over by a county sheriffs saying I know for a fact that isn't a Firebird. Took out my registration and he was ok with it. Then he proceeded for the next half hour to bullshit about cars. I told him to tell all his coworkers about my car and the plates. Never had another problem with any cop in the last 4 years.

At the time.. NC had a prayer for judgement thing. IF you would not get another ticket in X amount of time. They let it go. So, I am lucky. Not tickets since...

It was dumb on my part. I worked for a car dealership, buying cars at auction. We would drive them back and test how fast you could go before the cruise would no longer set. The Mazda I was driving..., Cruise no longer engage after 85. lol In case anyone needed that information.

You know...

the whole ginger vampire + sun thing = medical Rx for tint...

So hilarious but perfectly viable reasoning since your kind melts like butter.

At the time I was driving a fully restored, blood red '72 Mach 1. He was a motorcycle cop standing at the side of the road with a radar gun. I contested the ticket but lost.
