Yes, the car needs to be tuned for race gas or any other type of Gas / fuel in order for it to operate optimal and safe.

The Auto-Cal hand held will hold several tunes so we can provide that option for you, if you want more power.

Tony's ZL1 which is the very first serialized ZL-1 NicKey Super Camaro we built and it's not easy to hook up 730 rwhp with a manual.

Just what is listed was done to the car. We were all a little shocked at the numbers from the Dyno.

I've been told the stock ZL1 can handle up to 700rwhp before things start to brake. These are great dyno #'s but I'd be worried about long term something braking....

Well guys try this Dyno on for size!

Every car is different. Hell some of the CTSV guys have the LSA over 900 with stock internals. Solid tune makes all the difference as well.

But yeah, these are great numbers given the mods.

Also found this pretty awesome..

Regarding the effect of increased power on long term durability, a while back GM published an article about the LSA, in which GM reported that the "LSA has been validated beyond 100,000 miles. It has run over 270 consecutive hours at wide-open throttle without a failure. (The LS9 has only accomplished 100 hours of this sort of testing!!!)"

It's always a huge worry and the way I look at it is smething will break eventually. I bought my ZL1 from Nickey though through Dennis Barker so that's where my car goes for maintenance. I call them Camaro HQ or the Chevy War Room. They keep me out of trouble.

Corey at Nickey is amazing at tuning a car. The man just has the knack for it.

I have to ask Stefano at Nickey. I haven't picked the car up yet, they just tinted the windows and I'm waiting for the new rear spoiler to be put on. I'll find out for you though.
