They're loose from being burned up (LT's, max boost, cam, meth....)
I've been told that the "green cats" would probably do better but there is just sooo much heat being created.....

Yep they will melt the inside out and clog up and cause major failure in the motor if not caught. I know several people that have had the cats fail on road courses. Not so much 1/4 mile runs. One had the inside of the cats total clog up and the heat melted a piston. Now they run open cats.
