I held it in place. Had someone tighten the nut on the top as I held it in place. It just slide out of place as soon as I let it go and the nut is tight.....

IIRC the yellow cushion has like an indentation (sorry, best way I can describe it) of where the spring is suppose to sit. That's what centers the spring to the strut.

Kinda seems as if the indention is smaller diameter than the diameter of the spring, and too slippery so it just slides out. Not strong enough to hold it n place :(

Weird...kinda sounds like it's not getting tight enough to hold it in place. Only other thing I can think of is holding the strut bolt and tightening the nut some more. You'll need a T45 for that.

Yea I was using that t50 star socket, had to take strut to autozone to size it up and get correct one, to take it apart. Yea I'm tryin to be patient and wait for BMR to call me back but UGH! Lol

Are you using a spring compressor to install the coil or is there so little pressure you are just bolting it together by hand?

I did mine without a spring compressor.
