CALLING ALL 2015 lowered SS!

Has anyone besides myself lowered their 2015 SS? I have the BMR springs I am installing and can not get he spring to seat itself, centered on the top hat and strut. I hold it in place, tighten the nut and as soon as I let go of the spring, it slides back out of place. BMR has been contacted and hopefully will have a resolution tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone else with a 2014 or 2015 SS has had this issue....a fellow acquaintance that works at Chevy says the yellow cusion under the top hat is not present in the pre 2014 or 2015 ss's......would like clarification before I install without it....thank you for any and all help

Gabe

Yeah this happened to me as well, I fought it for a while until I finally decided to get it as centered as I could then just put it in and basically see what happens, to see if it would center itself. I've been a couple thousand miles without issue since then. Id be interested to see what BMR says as I also have their springs.

2015 SS with BMR 1.25"

I put them on car to see if the weight of the vehicle would seat it. Drove it around for like 4 days, jacked it back up, still n same position. My concern is where the spring is resting on the washer for the bumpstop. I dnt want it to put the strut n a bind and eventually wear the shaft on the strut :/

I stopped by a local shop and they don't remember seeing that yellow cushion under the top hat on the 2012 they just did. And they are fixing to do a 2015 tomorrow or the next day and would let me know what happens as well.

I tightened my nut with the strut out of the car , it was much easier to hold in place and seated properly. I know I have a 2010 but I had the same issue when I took it apart to install a strut brace. Ended up just yanking the strut.... Much simpler

Ok here's mine, pic is a little hard to see but I think it's seated on there properly. This is a 1" setup, I'll be switching to 1.25" soon. I already have them just haven't had time to install them.
