From a design standpoint, it just doesn't fit. It doesn't match the stripes, and it isn't functional. The car has a much cleaner look without it.

Plus, an SS badge should be enough to distinguish between the V6 and V8. If that's not enough for you, than 426 horses should do it.

I love the clean front end of the V6 much better. Not a fan of the Mail Slot at all. It does not look bad, but I like the cleaner look overall of the V6. I wish this was an option for the V8. Hylton has the best looking V8 on here when he filled his in.

Couple of shots of both of our Camaro front ends...

I'm calling the guy that did my stripes on Tuesday to see how much the V6 fascia costs and if it's a straight bolt on to the SS. I've been disappointed with the lack of function on the mail slot from day one, but when I saw the bumper off and realized it was just a cheezy push in piece of plastic, that clinched it for me, I want to get rid of the mail slot... I think while I'm at it, I'm gonna go ahead and see if I can build out a new "Dale Jr" style grill since GM doesn't seem to be in any hurry to get the one they are making on the street....
