They're awesome. I took mine to NJ and back. 12 hours in this car isn't bad at all, and I even managed 26MPG on the entire trip. You'll do even better with the V6!

Excellent road trip cars. Mine goes out frequently on 800 miles road trips. Just got back from and 8 hour return trip up the coast of Norcal and southern Oregon coast. Here is a shot from The Avenue of Giants.

We drove the Green Flash to OBX in June, it was a 8 hour drive and everything was great! Very comfy drive.

Then drove it to Charlotte, NC over the 4th of July, another 9 -10 hours through the mountains with the top down.....beautiful!!

Plus, we got 24 MPG steady, I'll take that from an LS-3 any time. Hell, my LFX '12 Camaro got about the same thing with 2 less cylinders last year!!

Plus, everybody has something to say about the car, people love the Green Flash......nobody has ever seen the color on a Camaro before.

Just do it, you'll love it!!!!

I do 4-8 hour each day drives at least once a month, this car is a lot of fun to drive on the highway. I have 0 complaints (except for the occasional tickets, but those are my fault ;D )

About 10k of 13k miles on the ZL1 are from road trips. This is our road trip car of choice. At least until it rains. Then it is the evil bitch from hell if you try to go over 50 mph.

Put 2,400 miles on mine last week going from central PA to central MO and back. Second time I've done it in the Camaro and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Great road trip car. Even better with mods! Don't be afraid to put some miles on yours. Half of the fun of owning one is driving it! Bought mine early in 2013 with 22,228 miles, hit 40k just outside my neighborhood at the end of the trip. Not a big mileage machine, but enough to actually enjoy it.

My bad! Next time through I'll have to stop by! How do you like your SLP supercharger? Is it the "new" style or "old" style?
