There is one CAI that is legal in California. That's the AIRAID modular intake system.
It has been certified by the CARB. It retains the stock air box into which you add a K an N air filter. My LT1 came with a factory dual mode exhaust which opens up at 3,000 rpm's. With this system installed the improvement on acceleration was dramatic. I can hit sweet spot for the dual mode exhaust to open up much quickly than before. |

Look into a Volant CAI with the Donaldson PowerCore Dry filter. Same patented filter GM used on some of the past Vettes. Increased airflow, sound and may be the best CAI filtering of dirt on the market. Check out Donaldson Torit website for details on on the Powercore filter.
