Thank you very much. Next is drag radials and lowering the car. Then hopefully going down a pulley size.

I installed an AFR & boost gauge, B&M transmission cooler, and BMR trailing arms & toe rods. I also got my wheels back from powder coating and installed Nitto 555r tires.

I went to GM Nationals this weekend in Carlisle. It was a great time and got to meet a lot of camaro5 guys. I was lucky enough to take 2nd place in the modified camaro class. Here are some pics.
My Fiance made this for the show. I thought it was super cool Cruise the first night of the show: Last edited by SoChrisB; 06-20-2016 at 08:17 AM. |

I took this picture a little while ago. I think the car looks so mean.

I went to the track last night. Had my best run so far with an 11.87. It was against a Hellcat Charger. It was a good race. We were bumper to bumper most of it.

That's an impressive et for your power level. Are you an M6? Was that rwhp Mustang or Dynojet? Were you running the 555r's? Do you have any fuel mods? I would be happy running high 11's. I have a similar build, L99, with all suspension mods, 3.70 gears and 285 PSS's. SLPTVS2300, 3.2 pulley, 8psi, MSD BAP, ARH shorties with Solo high flow cats, CAI with scoop and VMax tb. 510rwhp Mustang dyno 91 octane. No converter. Extra 300 lbs for the convertible. Can not run 1/4 mile because I have no roll bar. I'm going to try the 1/8 mile. Any tips? Also, love the SLP coil covers like you and TRC have. I have been waiting 4 months for them.

Hey bud. Thanks for the compliment. My rwhp was on the dyno after it was running for 3 hours. So HP might be a little higher if it hadn't run so long. I don't have any fuel upgrades, but do have a zl1 pump and adm fpcm sitting in my garage along with 3.4" pulley. I did make the pass with the 555rs, but wouldn't suggest them. They don't hook too well in my opinion. I absolutely love the coil covers. They bring eveything together. As far as suggestions for the track, do a good burnout, find the happy place for your rpm to launch. Mine is 1200-1300. Then, just mash it and go. Best of luck. Let me know how you make out!

Thank you. I want to see what it will do in street trim with the PSS's. Enjoy your next three months before winter comes.

Good luck. Don't heat street tires up too much, or so I have heard. They don't hook well. Just a light burnout.
Thanks...every year I dread the fall into winter. You're lucky you're in Cali. |
