Wow good to know! Many thanks! And good to know the car has not had the drivetrain blacklisted. Maybe there is no tune. But I doubt that. I wonder how I could tell? I guess I could pull the tune down with my SCT tuner. I would like to keep the drivetrain warranty if I can for a while.

Starting to like the white on the ZL1.

Same here.

Thinking the same thing especially when you consider price. People get hung up on power ratings. Unless you race the car it does not matter. The ZL1 is plenty fast to be fun.

It may be the best all around performance car there is for the $$.

For me my 1LE might have even handled better than a ZL1 with the square tire setup and almost neutral handling. And it had Hellcat power. But it was not a balanced car. As I modded my 1LE I wished in the end I had bought a ZL1.

The wife is trying to talk me into the 2015 ZL1.

Thanks for giving her some consideration. I would take $48k for mine, has an extended 5 year warranty, probably have near $70k with the upgrades......maybe someone else on the thread is looking. Have not posted the car anywhere, purchased all of the parts from Jordan at JDP except the stereo. Have all stock components, window sticker is laminated, you get the drift. Good luck with your search for a ZL1, they are great cars.

That is a good deal esp low low miles. Pretty much brand new.

The issues with the supercharger were supposed to have been fixed. Gotta wonder why there was a supercharger replacement necessary on a 2014 model year.

Also OP, what mods does this car have? You should try to get as much info as possible on this.

That white ZL1 is a 2013. As far as I can tell from calling the dealer and looking at the pics is LTs, CAI, no cats, and probably a pulley. As there are no CELs definitely a tune.

But I passed on this car as my wife said go for it.

So today as I was about to drive several hundred miles to see a 2015 ZL1 M6 for $49.5K i got an email from the sales girl the car was just sold. That is two cars in a row sold out from under me. Used ZL1s are selling like hotcakes. I could not let that happen again.

So I decided to go look at another 2015 ZL1 with no sunroof but with Recaros at a Dodge dealer, but listed at the sister Chevy dealer. The listing just said ZL1 but with no details. It turned out to be a black M6 with 3K miles. I drove the car and fell into car love. I just fit the Recaros so I will have to watch what I eat. Thar's a good thing.

But they also had a new crystal red 2013 M6 ZL1 at the sister Chevy dealer next door. So I thought at that point I would end up with this car. But after a ton of them offering prices and me shaking my head no, they offered me the car for $49K. Final offer was approved by Chevy. Chevy gets directly involved in deals?

That is a great price for new ZL1, but not for a three year old ZL1. So I went to work on the 2015 that was traded a couple days ago on a Hellcat next door. They started at $51K and stood firm on the "Internet" price. But we continued to "discuss" the deal and I finally got them to knock off another $1.7k and made the deal!

I will pick it up tomorrow. It is in brand new condition and is a blast to drive. It has a smooth ride and nice power that is much more subtle than my TT 1LE. Pics to come.

The Chevy dealer next door had a 2014 ZL1 with a $20K build and a claimed 700 RWHP. I said no thanks to that one. I been down that road. The car was bought and built for some sort of coast to coast rally. Interesting.

I am glad you didn't purchase the 14ZL1 they had at Lucas Chevy. I drove 14 hours round trip to look at that exact car, and actually have a thread on here about it. All of the work they are "claiming" was done at redline motorsports was just a quote. Work does not appear to actually have been done. There was about $3800 worth of work done by ligenfelter; but the car did not look like it was well cared for. I looked at the 2015 that you are getting, but I wanted a sunroof. It did look like a nice car. They were trying to talk me into the white z28 they had, but I was so frustrated with them misrepresenting the other zl1 I just left and did not want to deal with them at all.

Oh right, I think I saw that thread. I did not get a good feel at that Chevy dealership. But the sister Dodge dealer next door seemed better. I really liked my Dodge salesman. He said right up front. "I don't know anything about this car." I appreciate honesty. Not something you find very often looking at cars. On the other hand one of the Chevy salesmen argued with me that you could not buy a ZL1 with an automatic. He was confusing a ZL1 with 1LEs and Z/28s.

I wanted a sunroof too, but figured I could live without it.
