Definitely a 10 for me. There are some things I'd like to change (move the gas cap to the other side of the car for one) but it does exactly what I want it to do exactly when I want it to do it.

Rating also depends on what you are comparing to. It's pretty good compared to American cars. I swore years ago I'd only ever always buy American... but when I learned about the quality of the German imports, I have to stand corrected.

The Corvette is the best built American car, though the Camaro runs a close second (IMHO). Basing it on whether or not anything has needed repair is not a good gauge - every car has the potential of a component failure, even the best. Solidness, fit and finish, and overall performance (not necessarily speed/horsepower) are the best measures. Again, the German cars seem to have that wrapped up really tightly.

I would give mine a 10 only have 2000 miles on it so far though. Price point for the quality and performance can't be beat IMO.

I'd give my 2011 SS a solid 8. I'm the original owner of the car and know the history. The only issues I've had is a high-beam problem with the passenger side headlight (HIDs) and the A/C not performing well. I took the car to the dealer for both issues and the A/C still doesn't seem to be really cold...oh well.
My car also has the infamous TR6060 1-2 shift grind but it hasn't done it for about 4 months now..
Another thing that has bothered me from the start is the passenger side front fender not fitting perfectly but it's not really a big deal.

5 as of right now. Brand new 2015 Camaro driven 200 miles and the check engine light came on for an emissions leak. It will be in the shop more days than I actually had it. I love the look and drive of the car... Just annoyed that I may have a lemon. I never had any car with issues 200 miles in. The dealership blamed it on the "robots" that manufacturer the cars. Don't human have to inspect the cars? I hope it's not a sign of things to come.
